Bim has been tattooing since 1980 and in 1985, graduated from Dundee college of art with a Batchelor of Arts Degree in graphic design. The following year he gained diploma membership of the chartered society of designers. The first tattoo competition win came in 1995 at the Belfast show. After 60 more trophies at international level, Bim was awarded the only tattoo masters award in Scotland in 1998. The same year he recieved the tattoo industry award for best Tattoo Convention as the principal organiser. A few famous people have come under Bim's needle.Fish of "Marillion" fame, band members of The Exploited, BMX Bandits and The Silencers. Also, various footballers, boxers, TV personalities and it is alleged, a Hollywood movie star.
